The T-Safe® filters have been tested in accordance to the bacterial retention protocol ASTM F838-05. This test was conducted by the international ISO 17025 accredited test laboratory Eurofins/Biolab in Italy. The ASTM F838-05 is the Standard Test Method for Determining Bacterial Retention of Membrane Filters Utilized for Liquid Filtration. The filters were tested with the following test organisms:
- Brevundimonas diminuta
- Legionella pneumophila
- Pseudonomas aeruginosa
- Aspergillus brasiliensis (spores)
The test showed a retention >7Logs thus validating liquid sterilization.
A field-test has been conducted by Statens Serum Institut (DK) on two Danish Hospitals – Herlev and Hillerød – validating the use of T-Safe® filter showers and Tap-Safe up to 92 days.
Hygiene-Institut des Ruhrgebiets in Germany further conducted a Legionella pneumophila bacteria retention test, validating the filter’s integrity throughout the service life of the filter.
Industrial Microbiological Services Ltd. (IMSL) have tested the T-Safe® products in accordance to ISO 22196 for the products with Biomaster additive to validate the antibacterial activity.
Our factory and T-Safe® products have been certified by Bureau Veritas in accordance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 13485. The products which are targeting the health care sector are also certified in accordance with Directive 93/42/ECC (CE Medical Class IIa).
The T-Safe® products are made of WRAS approved materials (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme) and products are WRAS approved.
As one of the only manufacturers of Point-of-use filtration products, T-Safe® products have been BRL-14010/KIWA certified for use as a permanent solution.
